We’re thrilled to have scooped up two awards in this year’s Europas Awards — making the prestigious ‘Top 100’ European Startups list and winning the ‘Hottest Series A Startup’ category. This recognition is a massive testament to our team's relentless dedication to rapidly scale critical climate technology to create a world that thrives in balance with carbon.
Judged by an independent panel of 37 experts from up-and-coming and all-star VCs, the Europas Awards are known for celebrating the most ambitious and forward-thinking tech companies in Europe. Mission Zero was assessed alongside other impactful startups based on the quality of our idea, our team's ability to execute, our target market, and our potential to earn revenues and scale.
Celebrating catalytic progress
Being named the ‘Hottest Series A Startup’ crowns a year of intense innovation at Mission Zero. Since raising our £21.8 M Series A in March, we’ve doubled the size of our team, put three direct air capture (DAC) systems on the ground — including our first international deployment — and kicked off development of a next-generation product to unlock megatonne atmospheric CO₂ removal by the end of the decade.
This recognition is also a tremendous win for our young industry — pushing our work out of the realm of ‘fringe’, ‘distant’ climate innovation and into mainstream forums celebrating tangible technological progress. DAC is happening; we are already putting it on the ground around the world — and the visibility and excitement this award brings is so important for scaling our work.
None of this achievement would be possible without our incredible community of change-makers — spanning investors, supply chain partners, consultants, industry collaborators, and beyond — who have been instrumental in our journey so far. Our collective action is getting noticed, and we look forward to catching up again in 2025 with even more to celebrate.
